What does all browsers mean?
all browsers means that a website should work with (and hopefully look the same in) all browsers relentless on which operating system the browser runs.
But this does not automatically mean that the website-code is the reason if the site shows not correctly. It might be possible that the browser has incomplete implementation of W3C-conform rendering. all browsers are not the same!
So if you want to design a website which shows the same in all browsers you'd better go for learning if your tools are working the right way.
The famous (and feared by the browser-manufacturers) Acid2-test proofs your browser for this compatibility of conformity.
But don't get afraid by the result. At the moment (March 15th, 2005) there's only two browsers who passing this test flawlessly. Apple's Safari and Opera (9.0). This Test is only a measure for actuallity, as ongoing new standards will be developed and released. The developers of the browserprograms can't include all this in the same time while improving the code. The better the browser itself is in rendering the test, shows how engaged the manufacturer is in trying keeping the norms.

- Use a safe browser.
- Check the browser regularly for updates.
- If you are using Microsoft Windows, do regular online updates.
- Use a good Firewall program and learn how to use it the right way.
- Use a good Antivirus program and update it several times a week.
- Use a good Anti-Spyware program and update it regulary.
